Motorcycle Live at the NEC Birmingham, 21 Nov 2011
Here the report by our Chapter Photographer Ian:
Ah November, so it must be the NEC and the bike show and with another new name: “motorcycle live”.
A great stand by Harley Davidson, back at the show with a vengeance, its personal preference I know, but the accessorised blue Roadking Classic was just ever so slightly wrong, the Dyna Switchback was however just so right, and the CVO Street Glide was sweet, but at £26,000. I will stick to Milly, and the seat would have to go (why do they build touring bikes and put a small plank on them?)
Apart from the main Custom Extreme stage there were several other stands with custom bikes, though the Japanese manufactures seem to be shying away from cruisers now, and are working on sky high adventure tourers for those with long legs.
